SOLARA AUTOMATION HAS BEEN ACQUIRED BY AAE TO EXPAND FACTORY AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS AND MANUFACTURING IN THE US
[AAE - Coming to America]
Raleigh, NC July 2024 — Solara Automation, located in Morrisville, NC, near Research Triangle Park, is thrilled to announce its acquisition by AAE, a leading family-owned high-tech machine and module manufacturer based in Helmond, The Netherlands.
Solara Automation has been delivering customized industrial automation solutions for over 20 years. Our engineering expertise and motivated team are what set us apart! By combining AAE's cutting-edge solutions with Solara Automation's extensive experience, we aim to make significant strides in industrial automation. This move is part of AAE's internationalization strategy and addresses the needs of its globally operating customers.
AAE is a leader in its industry and offers more than just OEM Systems. It has provided solutions in printing and assembly automation, as well as ultra-conditioned precision modules. This partnership enables us to offer solutions across a wide range of markets, including, but not limited to, semiconductor, medical, automotive, food and beverage, toys, office, photovoltaic, analytical, and life science sectors.
"Ever-increasing demand for factory automation and robotics fueled our desire to partner with a larger firm with the expertise and resources to support rapid growth. Early in our discussions, we learned that our missions and technical abilities were complementary. Still, more importantly, we found strong alignment with a people-centric, working-together culture that drives success. We can accomplish great things together." Steve Crouch, Solara Automation.
Solara Automation and AAE will expand to a new 100,000 sq. ft. building. This expansion will enable us to offer more complex and larger machines. The new facility will support Solara's growth and manufacturing capabilities and AAE's ambitions in the US.
