Our goal at Solara Solutions is to make the process of scoping our customers’ programs as easy and straight-forward as possible. The scoping and proposal process ranges from a few weeks to a month depending upon the complexity of the program.

At Solara Automation, we want to make sure that we are a good fit for each opportunity. We carefully evaluate the problem to assure that we can provide our customer a high return on investment.

Concept & Machine Proposal

Preparing a proposal for designing and building an automation system requires detailed information about the goal, the production rate required, quality definition, and many other specifications. Our sales and engineering team creates a machine concept and a Rough Order of Magnitude estimate to make sure that the scale and scope of the machine is acceptable. Following a review with the customer, we prepare a detailed proposal with machine pricing, schedule and terms.

Project Launch

A project kick off meeting will be scheduled that will include the Solara project manager and the customer team to review the project requirements, to transfer critical information and to identify project milestones.

Machine Design and Production

As the project moves into the Design-Build Phase of the project, the project manager will manage the engineering, procurement of components, and the build of the system.

FAT and SAT Testing

Our machines undergo rigorous testing and analysis before they are released to production. We conduct Factory Acceptance Testing with the customer team at Solara’s facility and once approved the system is shipped and installed at the production site. Site Acceptance Testing is performed with the customer for final approval.

Post Installation

Engineering documentation, training and maintenance manuals, and warranty coverage ensures your machine will be running smoothly and efficiently for years to come.
