Solara designated Certified Systems Integrator for Universal Robots
Universal Robots is leading the market for Cobots - robots that function 'collaboratively' with workers. Solara sees increasing demand for UR robots for applications that 'replace a human arm' as manufacturers struggle to meet staffing requirements. We are pleased to join the UR CSI program and to offer this robot option to our customers.
Building upon years of expertise with industrial robots, Solara engineers adapted quickly to the UR platform to design and build an integrated assembly cell with UR3e, UR5e and UR10e cobots. The application required custom end-of-arm tooling, part loading, machine vision inspection, printing, ultrasonic welding, precision assembly and auto screw driving. The cell included an integrated safety system, PLC controls and an HMI for part selection and process monitoring.
